05/22 -2026-Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed Between the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems and the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental ScienceRecently, a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony and academic symposium were held in SIA between the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems and the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science. LIU Lianqing, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, who also serves as Deputy Director of SIA, and SHI Dalin, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science and Vice President of Xiamen University, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

12/09 -2025-SIA-SmartField Wins Award at Sinopec's First AI Innovation CompetitionRecently, the final round of Sinopec's First Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition concluded. The SIA-SmartField team, composed of staff and graduate students from the Industrial Control Network and Systems Laboratory of the Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), secured the second prize in the competition track titled "Design of Injection-Production Parameter Adjustment Schemes for Medium-High Permeability Waterflood Reservoirs" after progressing through both preliminary and final rounds.

11/14 -2025-Paper from SIA Wins IEEE IROS 2025 Best Conference Paper AwardThe 2025 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025) was recently held in Hangzhou. The conference attracted over 8,000 attendees and received more than 5,000 paper submissions from research institutions across numerous countries. honored with the conference's sole Best Conference Paper Award. A paper titled Interdigitated Electrodes for Selective Stimulation of Skeletal Muscle Actuators in Bio-syncretic Robots from Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) won the only Best Conference Paper Award.
