  SIA researchers make progress in the characterization of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy for deep-sea applications

  The LIBS team from the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIACAS) proposed a method of injecting helium into the measuring probe, to create a gas environment in the deep-sea high-pressure water environment, which broke the bottleneck of difficult excitation of plasma signals in deep-sea high-pressure water.

  SIA researchers made new progress on the end-edge collaborative scheduling of wireless network

  The industrial 5G team of Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIACAS), proposed a digital twin driven end-edge collaborative scheduling method for heterogeneous tasks and resources. The achievement was published on the academic journal IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications titled Digital Twin Driven Collaborative Scheduling for Heterogeneous Tasks and Edge End Resource via Multi Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning.

  SIA Research Selected as China 10 Scientific and Technological Developments in Intelligent Manufacturing

  A Flexible Control Technology for Batch Customization Based on Self-adaptive Reconfigurable Method, developed by a research team led by the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIACAS), was selected as China 10 Scientific and Technological Developments in Intelligent Manufacturing.

  IIoT WIA-PA Technology and System of Intelligent Oilfield Won the World Internet Conference Awards for Pioneering Science and Technologyr Pioneering Science and Technology

  The World Internet Conference (WIC) Awards for Pioneering Science and Technology were presented at a ceremony held in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 8. IIoT WIA-PA Technology and System of Intelligent Oilfield, developed by a research team led by Prof. YU Haibin from Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) won the award. Prof. YU presented the techonlogy during WIC.

  SIA team won ARIAC International Competition Championship for three consecutive years

  On August 25th, the 2023 Agile Robotics for Industrial Automation Competition (ARIAC) , organized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) of the United States, unveiled its competition outcomes. The Reaper team from the Industrial Control Network and System Department at the Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), won the championship for the third consecutive year.

  Professro Verl intoduced research progess made by the University of Stuttgart in robotics and industrial automation. The two sides made in-depth discussion about enhancing coopration on cutting-edge and innovation research.

  Research of bio-syncretic robots won the first prize of 2022 Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Award

  The reserach of bio-syncretic robots is an emerging direction and hot spot in robot research and is a potential subversive method for the further development of robots. It is based on the deep integration of biological systems and electromechanical systems, directly utilizing living materials to realize robotic functions, such as sensing, intelligence and actuation. Due to the introduction of highly unstructured and unknown biological materials, research on bio-syncretic robots urgently needs new relevant technologies for manipulation, fabrication and detection.

  World Robot Conference 2023 to be held in Beijing

  Consisting of three sections, including forum, exhibition, and competition, the WRC 2023 will focus on the frontier trends of robot technology and industry, show the application scenarios of robot innovation in various sectors, and hold high-level brain-computer interface and man-machine cooperation competitions, said Xu Guanghong, an official of the CAST.

  "Research on Key Technologies in Secure and Reliable Wireless Sensor Networks for Smart Factory" passed acceptance

  Recently, the International Cooperation Key project of Chinese Academy of Sciences "Research on Key Technologies in Secure and Reliable Wireless Sensor Networks for Smart Factory", jointly undertaken by professor YU Haibin from Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Professor Slawomir Stanczak from Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, successfully passed the final acceptance organized by Bureau of International Cooperation CAS. The project acceptance result was ‘excellent’.

  Emergency Rescue Robots Developed under Belt and Road Project Handed over to Lebanon

  QIAN Minjian presents the certificate of donation for the robots to Raymond Khattar .Meanwhile , SIA will continue to leverage its advantages in the fields of robotics and intelligent manufacturing , making its due contribution to the realization of the international cooperation goals of the Belt and Road Initiative .
