11/14 -2025-Paper from SIA Wins IEEE IROS 2025 Best Conference Paper AwardThe 2025 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025) was recently held in Hangzhou. The conference attracted over 8,000 attendees and received more than 5,000 paper submissions from research institutions across numerous countries. honored with the conference's sole Best Conference Paper Award. A paper titled Interdigitated Electrodes for Selective Stimulation of Skeletal Muscle Actuators in Bio-syncretic Robots from Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) won the only Best Conference Paper Award.

A paper titled A Leaping Spider-Inspired Soft Bionic Actuator for Amphibious Movement Robots from Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) won the Best Bionic System Award.

Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) held "AI-Driven New Models for Smart Manufacturing" innovation forum during the event.

This event was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) under their international cooperation program. Over 40 participants attended the workshop.
