On February 11th, the Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) , hosted an academic seminar themed "Gathering Intelligence in Atomic-Level Manufacturing to Shape New Quality Productive Forces." The event brought together over 50 researchers from universities and research institutes.
Fifteen experts from institutions including Zhejiang University, Dalian University of Technology, Jilin University, Northeastern University, as well as research institutes such as the IMR and SIA of CAS, delivered specialized academic presentations. The topics covered fundamental research in atomic-level manufacturing, molecular dynamics simulation methods, integration of bionic technologies, atomic-scale material studies, precision measurement and characterization, and applications of robotics technology.
Following the presentations, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on core issues including key technical challenges, innovative development pathways, and industry-academia-research integration models within the field of atomic-level manufacturing.
This seminar provided an excellent platform for academic and technical exchanges among researchers from both within and outside SIA. It is expected to further promote scientific collaboration in the atomic-level manufacturing domain and support the institute's research planning and high-quality development in this field.
