Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) , Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) held its 7th Academic Exchange Forum for Overseas Young Scholars on December 18, 2025.

During the forum, 12 young scholars from renowned universities and research institutions worldwide delivered presentations on cutting-edge trends and the latest research findings in the fields of robotics, intelligent manufacturing, and optoelectronic information technology. Topics included micro/nano robots, medical surgical robots, life-like robots, legged robots, detection technologies, multimodal perception, and optimal control, among others. Following the presentations, in-depth discussions were held with the attendees.

For these years, the forum has become an ideal academic exchage platform for scholars overseas and SIA researchers and students. Activities such as policy briefings are also inluded during the forum, besides academic reports.
