Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed Between the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems and the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science

Recently, a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony and academic symposium were held in SIA between the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems and the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science. LIU Lianqing, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, who also serves as Deputy Director of SIA, and SHI Dalin, Director of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science and Vice President of Xiamen University, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
At the meeting, Researcher ZHAO Xingang from the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, and MA Jian, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science, respectively presented their latest research progress and the vision for future collaboration between the two laboratories. LIU Lianqing and SHI Dalin signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.
Prior to this event, both sides had engaged in extensive communication and matchmaking regarding practical needs and technical supplies in marine scientific research and equipment development. During this academic symposium, further in-depth academic exchanges and discussions were held. Researcher HAN Zhi, Researcher CHEN Zhier, and Associate Researcher ZHANG Yunxiu from the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems respectively introduced their latest progress in embodied intelligence and marine robotics. Associate Professor BAI Xiaolin and Senior Engineer CHEN Weifang from the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science delivered academic presentations on numerical simulation of marine environments and AUV path planning, as well as automated marine biogeochemical sampling technologies.
Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on future cooperation and identified key priorities for the next phase, laying a solid foundation for the smooth advancement of collaborative efforts in the future.
