The Industrial wireless networks WIA specification Part 3: WIA-PA protocol conformance test specification, the R&D of which was led by Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), has been officially made a national standard of China, and will come into practice on July 1st, 2016.

The WIA-PA protocol conformance test specification is an extension of the WIA-PA protocol, and will provide reference and method for measuring standard compliance of industrial wireless network protocol stack and equipment. Besides, researchers of SIA have developed test platform for the WIA-PA protocol conformance, thus providing an all-round technology, standard and platform support for WIA-PA product authentication, as well as communication and operation among different brands of products.
