Industrial Control Network and Systems Department

   The Industrial Control Network and Systems Department has engaged in the fundamental theories and technological applications of industrial automation and information development. The department has obtained plenty of achievements on the related domains such as sensor network, system on chip (SoC), intelligent measurement, security controlling, control of IC equipment, and smart grid, etc. The projects of “Development and Application of Foundation Fieldbus Distributed Control System” and “Development of the Core Chip, Interoperability Technology and Integrated Control System for Process Industrial Fieldbus” have been awarded the second prize of China's State Scientific and Technological Progress Award in 2002 and 2009 respectively. Coordinated with the partners, the department developed the EPA, WIA-PA standards with our own intellectual property rights. The standards are also received as international standards by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Two key laboratories of Liaoning Province, namely, the Industrial Communication and Control System Laboratory and Industrial Internet of Things, are established in the Industrial Control Network and Systems Department. The department has established long-term cooperation relationship with universities, institutes and companies in US, UK, France, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, and China’s Hong Kong SAR, etc. Over the past five years, the department has successfully completed and/or undertook more than eighty projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program), the National Key Technology R&D Program, the Knowledge Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the Cooperation Projects between CAS and Local Governments, the Enterprise-entrusted Projects, etc.. The department has been published more than 400 papers, more than 100 out of which are indexed by EI and/or SCI.

    • The R&D teamcapture the functional safety technologies of safety equipment and system in key domains
    • Develop high-availability control equipment with independent intellectual   property rights, and provide the technical support to implement safety in industrial production in China

  • Control of IC equipment
    • Aimingat the common control problems of the cluster IC equipment
    • The R&D team capture the key techniques of process control, material transfer, process schedule, communication management, optimal control, and fault detection in cluster IC equipment control systems
    • Develop the platform of the cluster IC equipment control systems abided by the SEMI international standards, and provide the open and modular solutions for IC equipment control system
