Information and Control is an academic journal co-sponsored by the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIACAS) and Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) and published at home and abroad. The journal has been indexed by the Scopus, CSCD, CSTPCD and other national or international databases and included in the Guide to the Core Journal of China.

On the ground of theory of control science, Information and Control aims to promote the development of control theory and system by utilizing information technology, with emphases on the latest applications of control science and technology and control-related applied information technology in mechanical manufacturing, energy and power, chemical metallurgy, resources and environment, aviation industry, defense industry, and other hi-tech and economic fields of the national magnitude.
