ROBOT, with a format of A4 and 96 pages per issue, is an academic journal which is jointly published bimonthly by the Chinese Association of Automation and Shenyang Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The international number of the journal is ISSN1002-0446; and domestic number is CN21-1137/TP.
With the original name of Foreign Automation, the journal started its open publication domestically and internationally in 1979. In 1986, the journal was renamed Robot.
Robot mainly publishes papers on the following topics: academic development and R&D results of robotics and the related areas in China; the application samples of robots in the primary industry, the secondary industry and the tertiary industry; the related industrial policies in China; and papers on the robot control, mechanism, sensors, machine intelligence and pattern recognition, machine vision, etc. The columns include paper & report, summary & recommendation, unit technology, book review, meeting news, new product introduction, academic contention, etc. The audiences of this journal include scientific research personnel and engineering technical personnel going for robot research, development and application, and master and doctor degree candidates in institutes, colleges and universities.
