Agricultural UAV of SIA accelerated the development of Xinjiang agricultural and aviation industry

SIA W-100 UAV conducted demonstration of fully-automatic pesticide spraying operation at the opening ceremony of the first agricultural and aviation industrial park - Xinjiang agricultural and aviation industry base in northwest china commenced recently,receiving acclaim form experts.

The agricultural UAV is the SIA independent R & D, and the core technology advantages are as follows: design technology of maximum load and quick maneuver UAV, technology of UAV automatic path planning, control technology of UAV high stability tracking and fluidic technology of fully-automatic accurate control of dosage. SIAW-100 agricultural UAV adopts DGPS route planning technology of automatic spraying, and when achieving the automatic path planning, makes high stability tracking control of posture and position state of UAV, making the crops sprayed evenly. The strong blast of downwash airflow of rotor makes the pesticide liquid particles evenly attached to two sides of crops’ leaves, significantly enhancing deposition rates. And adopting fluidic technology of fully-automatic accurate control of dosage at the same time, it can provide real-time and accurate control of dosage and the effect is remarkable. Operation efficiency of the agricultural UAV can be reached as much as 100 acres per hour and is 100 times that of manual operation. While UAV can enter any plot to achieve low-attitude operation by spraying at the super low-altitude flight, without operators entering plots in the whole process, preventing the harm to the operators.
