The project"Key technologies and testing and authentication platform for industrial wireless WIA network"under the"theme project Wireless control technology, device and system development based on WIA"in the field of advanced manufacturing technology of 863 Program , undertaken by Shenyang Institute of automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences , successfully passed the technical acceptance organized by Ministry of Science and High Technology Research and Development Center on June 18th, 2015.
Experts listened to report made by researcher Liang Wei, who is in charge of the project, inspected demonstration site, and made inquiries at the acceptance meeting. Experts spoke highly of the achievements and agreed that the project passed the technical acceptance.
The project studied key technologies for factory automation, including WIA-FA high-speed and high-reliability real-time wireless networks, high performance and low cost network security of WIA-PA network framework, and WIA-PA protocol conformance and interoperability testing, etc., developed hardware and software products for factory automation, including stack software for industrial wireless WIA-FA network protocol, and field equipment and gateway device, etc., established the simulation verification platform for WIA network, test platform for WIA protocol conformance, and test platform for WIA security and performance, set the system architecture and communication specification, national standards of WIA-PA protocol conformance testing, and European standards of"IEC 62601 Industrial communication networks: WIA-PA", for factory automation. These technologies, prototype devices and platforms got the third-party testing and certification of the national authorities and peer experts, completing the assessment indexes and technical requirements of contractual specifications.
The project "Key technologies and testing and authentication platform for industrial wireless WIA network", undertaken by Shenyang Institute of automation, originated from National High Technology Research and Development Program of China(863 Program), and its marked achievements and applications included that it solved the WIA-FA wireless network technology of high-speed automatic control application for factory production line, that it formulated the first as well as the only technical specification of industrial wireless network -- WIA-FA specification in this field at present, and that it developed WIA-FA devices for demonstration and application in the fields including robot production line, and inspection robot for the high-voltage power line, etc.. 25 papers were published, 17 patents were authorized and applied, 3 standards were drafted, 4 software copyrights were applied, and 1 ministerial award was awarded.
