Department of Manufacturing Equipment and Intelligent Robotics aims to tackle the bottleneck problems in China's manufacturing industry, in response to national major demands. With the characteristics of digitalization and intelligence in manufacturing with laser, the department focuses on the development of disciplines including digitalization of processing technology, precision measurement technology and equipment, advanced laser manufacturing technology and equipment, additive manufacturing technology, robot control technology and advanced industrial robots and transmission line inspection robots. The department is the supporting unit of research platforms such as the International Joint Research Center of Advanced Robotics and Mechanisms and Liaoning Province Key Laboratory of 3D Printing Technology and Equipment.
