The Digital Factory Department has long been engaged in the basic theory and application technology research related to digital and intelligent manufacturing. It is the earliest technology team in China that has been engaged in the research, development, and engineering application of Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems (CIMS). Based on the strategic deployment of the national scientific and technological field and the industry demands of building a manufacturing power. The Department has deployed and carried out scientific research work and technological activities in the industrial software field integrating the new generation of information technology and intelligent manufacturing technology, including cutting-edge basic research, core technology research and development, self-controlled platform research, and promotion of key industry applications. The Department has formed a distinctive technical system and research direction, and has developed a series of large-scale industrial software platforms and tool products with international advanced levels. The achievements have effectively supported the digital transformation of strategic mineral resources, automobiles, semiconductors, military industry, food processing, currency printing and minting, and other key industrial sectors, making it a well-known domestic digital factory and intelligent factory solution provider.
