The Industrial Control Network and System Department has been engaged in the R&D on industrial-informatics related theories and applications. The department has obtained plenty of achievements on domains such as industrial internet ofthings (IIoT), system on chip (SoC), intelligent measurement, security and safety, andsmartgrid, etc. The department developed the EPA, WIA-PA, WIA-FA standards with own intellectual property rights. The standards are also received as international standards by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The department is the supporting unit for Liaohe Laboratory of Liaoning Province, and International Joint Research Center for Industrial Internet of Things Technology of Ministry of Science and Technology.
