Yu Haibin, born in 1964, researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, director of the Key Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Systems and the director of the Liaoning Liaohe Laboratory.

He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Automation, director of the National Industrial Process Measurement and Control and Automation Standardization Technical Committee, and ISA fellow.

Mainly engaged in research on industrial communication and distributed control, network collaboration and intelligent manufacturing, he has published over 100 SCI papers, 3 academic monographs, and won 3 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 second prize of National Technology Invention Award, and 8 first prize of provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards. He is a winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, and national level candidate for the National Hundred and Ten Million Talents Project.

He also won honors such as the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation, the National Innovation Excellence Award, and the National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, China Youth Science and Technology Award, and China Youth Science and Technology Innovation Outstanding Award.
