The second China-South Korea Underwater Vehicle Technology Forum commenced in Shenyang on August 24th, 2016, hosted by Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Seven experts from both side made academic report at the forum. Over 40 experts from China and South Korea, as well as researchers and graduate students from SIA participated in the event.
Through reports and discussions around technological development of operational and intelligent underwater vehicles, the forum provides the opportunity to know the application of underwater vehicles in marine engineering construction, sea bottom resource exploration, deep-sea oil operation and scientific exploration, etc.
It is informed that, the third China-South Korea Underwater Vehicle Technology Forum will be held in South Korea in September 2017.
