Upon the invitation of the Underwater Robotics Department of Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Kim Seung Hee, researcher from the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOT), along with six other researchers from KIOST visited the SIA on March 8th, 2016.
During the visit, researchers from SIA introduced the latest research progress made by the Underwater Robotics Department, and also reported on the detection technology for high-pressure water-tight pressure tank. The two sides discussed issues such as deep-sea ROV technology for scientific exploration.
