Hubert Pelletier, Sales & Marketing Director of IXBLUE from France, and Thomas Pang, sales manager of the company visited Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) on November 14th, 2012.

IXBLUE is an underwater navigation equipment manufacturer that is well known internationally. It mainly produces inertial navigation system and acoustic navigation system, including inertial navigation system PHINS and ROVINS, LBL navigation system RAMSES and USBL navigation system GAPS and POSIDONIA, etc. The products have been put into extensive applications in world famous underwater robotics equipment, and have shown solid performance in applications.

Liu Jian, research professor from the Underwater Robotics Department received the guests. During the visit, Hubert Pelletier and Thomas Pang introduced the development path and research directions of the company, as well as the principle, performance, features and applications in the world of their major navigation equipment. They also made discussion with SIA researchers about deep-sea autonomous underwater robotics independent navigation and related equipment.
