Undertaken by Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), theIEC/TC65/WG17 Working Group meetingwas held in Shenyang recently, and more than ten experts from Siemens, Yokogawa, Toshiba, CEI, IFAK, Instrumentation Technology and Economy Institute of China (ITEI), SIA, etc., attended this meeting.

Rudy Belliardi from Schneider, who also serves as the Secretary General of IEC/TC65 committee, made discussions with SIA researchers on the subsequent standardization of WIA technology in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), as well as the cooperation between Schneider and SIA. The experts also visited SIA’s exhibition hall, industrial wireless network laboratory, and MicroCyber, a fieldbus product manufacturer founded by SIA.
