Mr. Brain Huntsman, vice president of Teledyne TSS, and his colleague, Mr. Martyn Grange, the product manager, visited Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) on April 12 and 13. General Manager of CHINA ORES Ltd., the business agent of Teledyne TSS, accompanied them on the visit.

Teledyne TSS is the world leader company in marine technologies, and is famous for its marine electronic products, such as, inertial navigation systems, attitude & heading reference systems, gyrocompass, subsea pipe and cable survey and detection systems. The cooperation between SIA and Teledyne TSS has lasted more than ten years, and Teledyne TSS regards SIA as an important and sincere partner.

After listening to the introduction of underwater robotics researches in SIA, Mr. Brain Huntsman gave a presentation about the history and new development of Teledyne TSS, and focused on new their technologies and new products supporting underwater robotics research. Mr. Martyn Grange introduced the detail information about these new products. The conferees from SIA and Teledyne TSS discussed some problems of common interest.

Accompanying with personnel from SIA, Mr. Brain Huntsman and other guests visited the underwater robotics laboratory and the Scientific Achievements Exhibition Hall of SIA. The guests expressed appreciation for SIA’s R&D achievements in underwater robotics, and showed the intention of further cooperation.
