The 6th China Conference on Robotics officially commenced in Changsha on August 1, drawing leading researchers and engineers to discuss cutting-edge advances under the theme “Human-Robot Integration: Shaping the Future with AI”. The three-day event was attended by a delegation from the Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) , the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS).

“Robot Embodied Intelligence” Keynote Forum
The conference featured a series of high-level forums and presentations. Tianran Wang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and reseacher at SIA, presided over the keynote address at the annual conference. Tianran Wang and Haibin Yu,Academician of CAE, and reseacher at SIA, attended the “Robotic Embodied Intelligence”Keynote Forum. Lianqing Liu, deputy director of SIA, moderated the Editor-in-Chief Forum focusing on top-tier academic publications.
Jiancheng Yu, director of the Marine Robotics Frontier Technology Center, presented on AUV developments for deep-sea exploration, while assistant researcher Ning Li from Robotics Laboratory shared research on exoskeleton technologies during the Young Scholars Forum.
In conjunction with the conference, the Robotics Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation convened its annual meeting, approving 84 new members and expanding its total membership to 183 individuals representing 133 universities, research institutes, and enterprises nationwide.
