The scene of the meeting

The inaugural meeting and first working conference of the Youth Editorial Board of the journal Information and Control took place during the 6th China Robot Conference (CRC 2025) in Changsha on August 3, The event combined both in-person and online participation. More than 40 people attended the meeting.

Lianqing Liu, deputy director of SIA delivered a welcome address on behalf of the institute. He emphasized the unique value of domestic journals within the global academic landscape and expressed that SIA will continue its efforts to advancing the journal to the next level. He hoped that young editors would actively contribute to enhancing the journal's academic quality and optimizing publication efficiency.

Tianran Wang, editor-in-chief of journal, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and reseacher at SIA, provided a brief overview of the journal. He extended congratulations to the newly electedyoung editors, expressing confidence that their collective efforts would lead to continuous improvements in the journal's quality.

Representatives from the Information and Control editorial team presented on the journal's current status, academic quality initiatives, promotional activities, and future development plans. Attendees engaged in discussions on further boosting the journal's academic influence and refining publishing services, offering valuable suggestions.

ROBOT Journal 2025 Awards Ceremony

The 2025 Awards Ceremony of the journal Robot was also held during CRC 2025. Haibin Yu, Editor-in-Chief of Robot , CAE Academician, and reseacher at SIA, presented award certificates to winners of the Outstanding Paper Award, Outstanding Editorial Board Members, and Outstanding Reviewers.
