Special seminar: national planning of robot and automation
The International Conference on CYBER Technology in Automation, Control, and Intelligent Systems, IEEE-CYBER 2017 was held during July 31 to August 4, 2017, in Hawaii, the United States. The conference was hosted by Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. About 300 experts from China and abroad participated in the conference.
Six well-known experts from China, the United States, Japan etc, introduced latest research progress in intelligent control, robot and information security, etc, in their reports. Chai Tianyao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor from Northeastern University of China gave a report titled Smart Control System for Energy-intensive Equipment. Bazmi Huain, Chief Technology Officer of ABB Group made report titled Digitalization in Utilities and Industries. Kazuhiro Kosuge, Professor from Northeastern University of Japan made report titled Physical Human-Robot Interaction Dance Partner Robot and its Applications. Kai Wollenweber from German company made report titled Industrial IT Security-An essential basis for Industry 4.0. Zhang Yuming, professor from University of Kentucky of the United States made report named Human-Robot Collabrative Cyber Physical System Based Learning of Human Welder Intelligences. Li Wenrong, professor from City University of Hong Kong, IEEE Fellow made report named Intelligent Sensors for Cyber Physical Human Systems.
During the conference, participating experts displayed and exchanged latest achievements via reports and panel discussions, covering topics such as network physical system, network control and automation, network and robot, internet of things, etc.
A special seminar on major country’s planning of robot and automation was held during the conference. Yu Junzhi, professor from Institute of Automation, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Reid Simmons, professor from Carnegie Mellon University, Kai Wollenweber, and Kazuhiro Kosuge introduced program support and development planning of China, United States, Germany and Japan, respectively.
