SAP, the technology leader in global enterprise management software and solutions， held the D-Kom Conference in Shanghai on March 26th. At the meeting, Bernd Leukert, the SAP executive board member and the member of the Global Commission on Global Governance, awarded Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) the “2015 Annual ASP China Research Institute of Innovation Excellence Award” in recognition and gratitude for both SIA and SAP co-innovation study on the area including industry 4.0 and preventive maintenance based on networking. Also, Huawei Technology Co. Ltd., Chinese Huadian Group, HELI, ADP are awarded at the meeting.
D-kom conference is held by SAP annually, aiming to release the latest technologies of SAP, award the company or institute cooperated with SAP in depth, and SAP can exchange and discuss the cutting-edge technology with its partners and key customers. There are in total of 2000 people attending this conference including SAP’s senior leadership, technical staff, partners, and large number of customers.
Berned Leukert gave a high evaluation on the joint research between SIA and SAP, and expected that they can maintain a closer strategic partnership in future. As an associate researcher of SIA, Yiyang Liu accepted the award on behalf of SIA，and made a report in title of “intelligent manufacturing for industrial 4.0”. Earlier, the preventive maintenance system on industrial robot health based on networking was exhibited on CeBIT 2015 conference, and was highly praised by the Deputy Prime Minister of Both China and Germany.
