Upon the invitation of State Key Laboratory of Robotics, Professor Ruan Xiaogang from Beijing University of Technology made a report about Self-balance robot when attending the Robotic Frontier Academic Forum held at Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), on October 24th, 2014.
In his report, titled, Research and Realization of Self-balance Robot and its Autonomous Learning of Motion Balance Technique, Professor Ruan talked about the background, category and existing problems of self-balance robot, the independently designed two-wheel robot with flexible waist and the realization of positive feedback control algorithm for the R&D of the robot.
Han Jianda, vice director of the State Key Laboratory of Robotics conferred the certificate of Robotic Frontier Academic Forum to Professor Ruan before the lecture.
