The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) officially opened the Key Laboratory of Networked Control System at Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) on September 21st, 2013. The academic committee of the key lab convened for the first time on the same day.
Wu Cheng, Sun Youxian, Chai Tianyou and Wang Tianran, all academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), Yu Haibin, director of SIA, and Sang Zigang, deputy director of SIA participated in the meeting. Hou Hongfei, director of the Key Laboratory Department under the CAS Frontier Science and Education Bureau presented the letters of appointment to experts on the key laboratory academic committee. After that, Hou Hongfei and Wu Cheng unveiled the plaque for the newly opened laboratory.
During the committee’s first meeting, Yu Haibin firstly made a report on the establishment of the key laboratory. Zheng Meng, Chen Hanning, Zhang Bo and Zou Tao made academic reports respectively, titled Research on Cross-layer Optimization Theory and Method of Industrial Wireless Sensor Network, Research on Biological System Modeling and Intelligent Optimization Method Based on Virus Behavior, Analysis Method of LIBS Characteristic Peak, and Kinetic Characteristics Analysis of Double-layer Prediction Control. After the reports, the participating experts made discussions on issues such as how to further advance the basic research capability and strengthen feature research directions.
