Information and Control, cosponsored by Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) and Chinese Association of Automation (CAA), received a notification from the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSCB) recently, that the journal will be accepted for inclusion in Scopus.
Scopus, launched by Elsevier in November 2004, is the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. It covers nearly 20,500 titles from 5,000 international publishers worldwide, of which 19,500 are peer-reviewed journals in the scientific, technical, medical, and social sciences (including arts and humanities). It contains 49 million records, 78% with abstracts, and over 5.3 million conference papers. Presently, the evaluation for inclusion in Scopus is quite stringent. And about 600 Chinese journals have been indexed in Scopus.
